Launch Ceremony of Future Entrepreneurs Development Program Held

On May 18, the College of Management held the launch ceremony for the Future Entrepreneurs Development Program in the conference hall on the third floor of the East Campus. Zhao Liuyan, a member of the university’s Party Committee and Vice President of the university, attended the ceremony, along with representatives from the Office of Educational Administration, Office of University Cooperation, and the College of Management. The meeting was presided over by Luo Lan, Deputy Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the College of Management.

Zhao Liuyan highlighted GZU’s continuous efforts since its approval as one of the first national innovation and entrepreneurship practice bases in 2002. Since then, the faculty and students of GZU have actively sought to enrich their knowledge system and contribute to society and the local community. As the new round of technological and industrial revolution unfolds, there is a growing demand for a new generation of business talents. The Future Entrepreneurs Development Program aims to cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial individuals who can meet the requirements of the evolving era. Zhao Liuyan urged the students to value this learning opportunity and seek to acquire useful knowledge and skills from this program. He encouraged them to explore their own potential and strive towards becoming highly skilled management professionals equipped with an international outlook, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

Li Ye, Dean of the College of Management, gave a brief introduction to the Future Entrepreneurs Development Program. This program aims to deepen students’ understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship, broaden channels for innovative and entrepreneurial practices, and provide scientific, diverse, and abundant resources and platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship to GZU teachers and students. Notably, the program’s faculty consists of a group of mentors with a strong spirit of innovation and rich practical experience in the field. The external mentors include outstanding alumni, successful entrepreneurs, experts in innovation and entrepreneurship, and professional managers. The program combines theory and practice, and teaching activities are carried out through expert lectures, scenario-based teaching, and interactive salons.
